2. Antigua and Barbuda

Minimum Income Requirement: $50,000/year

Application Process: Online

The Caribbean islands of Antigua and Barbuda are welcoming remote workers to come and live there for up two years. 

With just a handful of documents to submit, digital nomad visa applicants can use the online portal to submit their documents and applications. 

There is a $1,500 application fee for individual applicants that must be paid online when submitting applications. 

You will receive an answer of approval within five to seven business days after submitting your application, documents, and fee.

3. Barbados

Minimum Income Requirement: $50,000/yea

Application Process: Online

Barbados is another island in the Caribbean with an easy digital nomad visa. To be eligible, you simply need to prove you meet the income requirement, work remotely, and have health insurance coverage in Barbados for one year. 

The application process is done entirely online, and you’ll receive an answer within seven business days. 

After your visa has been approved, you’ll pay a $2,000 visa fee as an individual applicant.

4. Bermuda

Minimum Income Requirement: $0

Application Process: Online

Bermuda is welcoming remote workers and university students attending online classes to come and live on the island for one year with their digital nomad visa program. 

While there is no set minimum income requirement, applicants will have to show bank statements proving that they can support themselves on the island. 

With an online application process, digital nomad visa applicants will receive an answer within five business days via email. 

There is also a non-refundable visa fee of $263 to be paid when applying.

5. Cape Verde

Minimum Income Requirement: 1,500€ bank balance

Application Process: Online

Made up of ten islands off the west coast of Africa, Cape Verde offers a very affordable and easy digital nomad visa application process. The visa allows remote workers to live in the archipelago for six months. 

Instead of earning a certain amount each month by working remotely, Cape Verde only asks that you maintain a bank balance of at least 1,500€ per month for the last six months. 

The application process is done entirely online, and you will receive your visa approval within 14 days.  

To collect your digital nomad visa, you must travel to Cape Verde within 30 days of approval and provide your documents to the border control along with a 34€ fee. Your visa will then be delivered to you within five days of entering the country.

6. Colombia

Minimum Income Requirement: $900/month

Application Process: Online

 When introducing the digital nomad visa, Colombia’s goal was to make the application process as easy as possible. 

With a low minimum income requirement, online application process, and only a handful of documents to submit, applicants will receive an answer within 30 days of submission. 

The necessary documents can be submitted in either English or Spanish, too. 

There is an application fee of $52 USD, which is payable online. When the visa is approved, there is a visa fee between $170 and $230, depending on your country of origin and if you’re bringing dependents.

7. Costa Rica 

Minimum Income Requirement: $3,000/month

Application Process: Online

Costa Rica’s digital nomad visa is one of the most coveted and easy digital nomad visas available right now. 

Digital nomads have flocked to the Central American country due to its low cost of living and beautiful beaches. Now, they can live in the country for up to two years tax-free with the digital nomad visa! 

With an online application process, you’ll only have to submit four documents: copy of passport, proof of remote work, certified bank statements, and an international health insurance policy.

8. Curacao

Minimum Income Requirement: $0

Application Process: Online

The Dutch colony island of Curacao is one of the most affordable islands in the Caribbean. With its digital nomad visa, remote workers can live on the island for six months and renew it once to stay for a total of one year.

9. Dominica

Minimum Income Requirement: $50,000/year

Application Process: Online

Dominica’s digital nomad visa allows remote workers and their family members to live on the beautiful Caribbean island for 18 months. Visa holders are also not liable for paying local income tax when they live in Dominica full-time. 

Applicants must submit just four documents in English: passport copy, proof of income, proof of remote work, international health insurance policy with coverage in Dominica. If bringing dependents, applicants will have to submit a proof of relationship in the form of a marriage or birth certificate. 

When submitting your application, there is a $100 non-refundable application fee.

The entire process is done online and you’ll receive an answer between 14 and 28 days.  

Upon approval, individual applicants must pay an $800 visa fee or $1,200 for families. Applicants will have 30 days to enter Dominica after they receive their visas.

10. Dubai

Minimum Income Requirement: $3,500/month

Dubai recently lowered the minimum income requirement from $5,000 per month to just $3,500 per month to be eligible for the digital nomad visa.

11. Grenada

Grenada’s digital nomad visa allows remote workers to live on the Caribbean island for one year with their spouses and dependents. 

There are two significant benefits of working remotely in Grenada with the digital nomad visa. English is the official language, and visa holders are exempt from paying local income tax.

While you have to attend an in-person appointment and interview to apply for Hungary’s digital nomad visa, it is still one of the easiest to apply for within Europe and the Schengen Area.

13. Malaysia

Minimum Income Requirement: $2,000/month

Application Process: Online

Officially known as the Professional Visit Pass, Malaysia’s digital nomad visa allows applicants to live there for three to twelve months. There is an option to renew to stay for a total of two years. 

While Malaysia has an easy digital nomad visa to apply for, it is limited only to those who work in the digital domain industry. This includes digital marketers, IT professionals, programmers, content creators, and more. 

The entire application process is online, and you may submit your documents in English. The processing time is about four weeks.

14. Malta
