Update June 5, 2023: The official website for the Anguilla digital nomad visa no longer exists. We are waiting for confirmation if the visa is still available.

You can now work remotely from beautiful Caribbean beaches with the Anguilla digital nomad visa.

Introduced in 2020, when the world was pushed to work from home, Anguilla invited digital nomads and those who didn’t need to go into an office every day to come and live in their beautiful country. They also accept students who are attending online classes too!

Digital nomads can live in Anguilla for one year with this digital nomad visa.

With incredible wifi connection, comfortable residences to live in, and ideal weather for most of the year, it’s a no-brainer why anyone would want to apply for the Anguilla digital nomad visa.

Anguilla joins Bermuda and Barbados as being one of the islands near the USA to welcome digital nomads to come, live, and enjoy.

Plus, the application process is surprisingly easy! You’ll find out exactly how to apply for Aguilla’s digital nomad visa in this article and the eligibility requirements.

What is a Digital Nomad Visa?

A digital nomad visa allows remote workers to live in a foreign country for an extended period of time.

Typically, these visas allow digital nomads to live in the country for one year. Many of them do offer an option to renew for another year or two.

It’s important to note that this visa does not allow you to participate in the local economy to earn money. All of your income must be sourced outside of the country where you hold your digital nomad visa.

Anguilla Digital Nomad Visa Requirements

As with every visa, there are certain requirements you must meet in order to be eligible to receive it. Below are the requirements for Anguilla’s digital nomad visa

  • Valid Passport – Your passport must be valid when applying for the visa
  • Remote Job/University Enrollment – You must either have a remote job outside of Anguilla as either an employee, freelancer, or business owner, or you must be enrolled in a university outside of Anguilla
  • Entry Visa (if applicable) – Some countries need a visa to enter Anguilla in addition to the digital nomad visa
  • Health Insurance – You must have health insurance coverage in Anguilla for the duration of your visa
  • Clean Criminal Record – You cannot have a history of criminal activity

There aren’t many requirements for the Anguilla digital nomad visa, making it one of the easiest to apply to.
