What is the Croatia Digital Nomad Visa?
The Croatia digital nomad visa was first introduced in 2021. It allows remote workers and immediate family members to live in the country for 12 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for digital nomads who want to explore the gorgeous beaches and national parks this country has to offer. It is full of great cities for digital nomads to call home, too.
Plus, Croatia joined the Schengen Area and adopted the Euro in 2023, allowing digital nomad visa holders to travel visa-free through 26 additional countries.
Croatia’s digital nomad visa is one of the few that allow you to apply while already in the country as a tourist. This makes it easier to find an address of accommodations and obtain appointments at immigration offices.
It’s important to note that the Croatia digital nomad visa is non-renewable. If you wish to stay longer, you must leave the country for at least three months and reapply for the visa.
Additionally, Croatia is one of the digital nomad visas with no tax implications, making it favorable amongst many remote workers.
