What is a Digital Nomad Visa?
Before getting into the details of this specific digital nomad visa, we should first define what a digital nomad visa is.
A digital nomad visa allows remote workers to live in a foreign country. It is a short-term residence permit that can last anywhere from one to two years.
To be considered a remote worker, you must be an employee of or own a company located outside of the country you’re applying or be self-employed working for clients from a different country.
Each country has different requirements and benefits associated with its digital nomad visas. Some require you to pay local income tax while others do not.

Antigua and Barbuda for Digital Nomads
If you would label yourself as a beach bum, then Antigua and Barbuda is just the place you’ve been searching for. With over 300 beautiful sandy Caribbean beaches, you will never run out of places to lounge after a day of working.
Antigua and Barbuda, while previously a vacation destination, is becoming more popular amongst digital nomads who want to escape the cold winters and live in year-round sunshine and warm weather.
It isn’t all beaches and yacht harbors, though. Some of the most popular places to stay include small cities like St. John’s and Saint Philip. However, if you’re looking for something smaller and more tranquil, English Harbour Town may be the place for you.
Life is pretty quiet on Antigua and Barbuda. Of course, there are plenty of outdoor activities to keep you busy as well as shopping, nightclubs, and great restaurants to try delicious local food. You will even find cafes with free wifi where you can set up your laptop and spend a few hours working.
