Italy Digital Nomad Visa Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Italy digital nomad visa, you must meet the following criteria. 

• Valid Passport – Your passport must be valid while applying for the visa
• Earn at least 2,335€ per month – You must meet the minimum income requirement, which is 3x the national minimum wage
  • For couples, the main applicant must earn at least 3,153€ per month
  • For a family of three, the main applicant must earn at least 3,425€ per month
  • For each additional dependent, the monthly income requirement increases by 275€
• Work Remotely – You must work remotely as a freelancer or employee for a company or clients located outside of Italy
• Highly Skilled Worker – You must qualify as a highly-skilled worker, which means having a university degree OR post-secondary qualification of at least three years OR five years of professional experience OR three years of professional experience (acquired in the previous seven years) for managers and specialists working in the field of information and communication technologies
• 6 Months of Remote Work Experience – You must demonstrate that you have worked remotely for the last six months
• International Health Insurance – You must have health insurance coverage during your stay in Italy
• Clean Criminal Record – You must have a clean criminal record from the last five years
• Address of Accommodations – You must have suitable accommodations for the validity of your visa (12-months) in Italy
